Over the last 10 years of being an in house recording engineer I have learned many skilled tricks of the trade, with a sound understanding of transferring sound to format, whether that be tape or DAW.

Understanding the whole record making process and knowing the tools that are needed for each job frees up time to be creative when experimenting with rooms, placements and environments to make sure that the mixing process is made as easy as possible.

I have recently assistited for David Costen known for Bat For Lashes May68 and Christophe Bride known for Skunk Anansie and The Missing Link.

I can occassionally be found behind the board in venues around Manchester. Either engineer or mixing sound for promotors or bands i have worked with in the studio. I recently recorded the international festival - In The City Manchester. You can hear some of that work here amongst other recordings from live gigs.
