What is a producer?

Someone with the vision that’s able to see the finished project right from the start, making sure that every part of the production process, facilities, equipment used, project timetable and pre-production all come together to create your finished product. The product that will ultimately generate the musicians income, recognition and publicity to get you onto the next level.

But before any of that, you need to be ready to go into the studio. So many musicians coming into studios for the first time (and a good few old lags too, for that matter) haven’t really worked out what they want to do there. Not just the writing and rehearsing, but making sure the gear is fit for purpose, arrangements are arranged, over-dubs are worked out, what locations or studios best fit your sound - just a few decisions that need to be considered before you hit the big red button!

Whats in the box:
